CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Main Hospital, New Jersey

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (18:00 - 06:30)

The CVOR Registered Nurse will provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. This role requires proficiency in both scrub and circulating duties, particularly for open heart adult surgeries including CABG and valve procedures. Knowledge of advanced medical devices such as Impella and HeartMate is essential.

Assist in open heart adult surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.

Scrub and circulate during surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment and effective patient care.

Utilize and monitor advanced cardiac devices such as ECMO and facilitate TAVR procedures.

Float to the Main OR as necessary when CVOR cases are not available.

3 or more years of CVOR nursing experience is required.

BLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.

Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.

Experience with Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and TAVR procedures is strongly preferred.
