Hospitalist

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Per Diem Hospitalist to join their team in Worcester, MA. Practice Info Census 12 to 14 on an average Desirable and unique continuity hospitalist model with Reliant Medical Group's PCPs, allows familiarity with some of the same patient panel and families Dedicated evening and night AP coverage already in place Dedicated night MD coverage already in place Teaching interaction with residents that may cover 50% of the census Closed ICU, SICU, CCU, managed by Intensivists-Specialists Compensation Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $98.08 - $166.35 per hour Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role Benefits Company paid malpractice insurance and tail coverage Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) Shift & Schedule Different shifts available: 8:00AM - 8:00PM or 8:00PM - 8:00AM, will vary, with mostly days or possibility for occasional nights Weekend admitting shifts 1:00 PM- 9:00 PM with AP support Shifts to be scheduled upon mutual agreement Moonlighting additional shifts available Requirements BC/BE in Internal Medicine Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts Active DEA License No visa sponsorship at this time Preferred: Experience working within a Team Care model Preferred: Fluency in EMR systems & technology
