Legal Assistant

Our client, a reputable legal firm specializing in consumer collections and judgment executions in West Virginia and Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join their team. As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of the legal support staff, assisting attorneys with various administrative and legal tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Legal Assistant Location: Clarksburg, WV Pay Range: $13 - 18 based on experience Shift: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Assist attorneys with handling incoming and outgoing calls and documents Draft and process legal documents accurately and efficiently Respond to client and legal party inquiries professionally Coordinate with courts and other legal entities as needed Manage high-volume, detail-oriented tasks independently What's Needed? Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a legal or office setting preferred High School diploma or GED required Proficiency in Word and Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently What's in it for me?
