Industry Medical Devices Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backed About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Planning to serve as the senior finance leader, responsible for the full spectrum of financial activities, including strategy, planning, reporting, and decision support. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving profitable growth, and improving working capital and cash conversion. This role requires a strong background in financial leadership, with a focus on translating corporate objectives into measurable financial plans, leading business reviews, and ensuring audit-ready processes. The VP of Finance will also be involved in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and will oversee accounting, controls, and treasury management. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' progressive finance experience, with a proven track record in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level reporting. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA and/or CPA/CMA. Key skills include experience with CLM implementation, ERP environments, and familiarity with healthcare contracting concepts. The role demands a leader with a strong understanding of cost and inventory accounting, operational finance drivers, and a history of improving cash conversion cycles. Experience in PE-backed businesses and Board reporting is strongly preferred, as is a background in M&A and integration support. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for leading the finance team, so experience in team development and a high-accountability culture is essential.
