Purpose As the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, this role will lead a team of sourcing professionals responsible for building and scaling a best‑in‑class sourcing organization to support the commercialization of Ottava and Digital Solutions. The leader will be accountable for establishing the sourcing operating model, standard work, and category strategies required for commercialization and will drive a resilient and optimized supply base, ensuring alignment to cost, quality, delivery, and innovation objectives. Key Role Responsibilities Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, coach and develop a team of sourcing professionals to deliver on commercial objectives. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned to business priorities. Build organizational capability across strategic sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, category strategies, and financial acumen. Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management Define and implement the sourcing operating model and standard work. Develop and deploy category strategies in alignment with enterprise and category teams. Establish scalable processes for supplier selection, contracting, and performance management. Understand, illustrate, and mitigate supply continuity risks and threats to ensure supply continuity. Develop a deep understanding of the Ottava & Digital Solutions robotics commercial strategy and trends. Build supplier and internal partnerships to ensure products launch on time and suppliers can ramp to future demand levels. Support initiatives on procurement citizenship, including diversity and inclusion. Financial Ownership & Performance Drive NPI and commercial sourcing efforts to support COGS improvement and create a GP improvement roadmap. Own and deliver financial commitments including CIPs, PPV/inflation/market movement management. Develop and manage savings pipelines and track actuals versus commitments. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk mitigation. Lead RFP, I/Q, and Contract Procurement Lead RFP/I/Q processes and provide guidance to the team. Negotiate supply agreements and provide guidance on contracting. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Engineering degree – mechanical, electrical, etc.). Experience with SAP or similar project software toolkit. Track record of successfully completing complex projects within time, cost, and quality parameters. Experience implementing digital, automated solutions to optimize business results through digital transformation internally or at suppliers. 10+ years of sourcing or relevant experience in a high‑urgency/critical stakes environment. Demonstrated supplier cost negotiations and contracting experience with favorable financial results in complex negotiations (USD savings). Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence business direction. Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities in a high‑ambiguity environment. Preferred Skills Master’s Degree (MS, MBA, finance, executive, engineering, supply chain, information systems, etc.). Multi‑country experience. Previous experience in highly matrixed large organization and startup environment. Professional certifications (APICS‑CPIM, CSCP, PMP, CAPM, ISM, Lean, Six Sigma). Experience in the medical devices industry and knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 compliance. May require up to 20% travel, including domestic and international travel. Benefits Base pay range: $142,000.00 to $215,449.50.
