About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Clinical Operations with a strong background in the field. The successful candidate will have 15-25 years' of progressive clinical operations experience, with a recent focus on hands-on trial delivery and a proven track record in building, managing, and developing clinical operations teams. Experience in a lean biotech and/or specialty CRO environment, particularly in the execution of Phase II-III and registrational studies, is essential. The role involves leading clinical programs from start-up to completion, driving enrollment, site management, and ensuring the delivery of study milestones. The Head of Clinical Operations will also be responsible for vendor and CRO management, strategic and financial leadership, and building and improving operational infrastructure to ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-functional leadership, partnering with various stakeholders, and leading teams through complex operational challenges. Team development is a key aspect of the role, including mentoring, coaching, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture. The Head of Clinical Operations will be expected to own program budgets, lead scenario planning, and deliver KPI-driven updates to senior leadership. A proactive approach to process optimization, organizational scalability, and a commitment to quality, timelines, and budget are crucial. The role is suited to a dynamic leader who can thrive in a resource-constrained biotech environment and is dedicated to the success of clinical development programs.
