As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, Verification & Validation (V&V), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities. You will be responsible for major project deliverables, leveraging deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are vital as you influence project direction, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.Responsibilities:Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.Oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities.Manage major project deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.Provide strong leadership and effective communication.Mentor and guide team members.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.Expert proficiency with Systems modeling and simulation tools.Proven leadership experience in systems engineering.Demonstrated knowledge of multiple Engineering principles and practices.Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and V&V principles.Active Secret ClearanceEssential Functions:Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
