About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel / SEC Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading enterprise risk management initiatives, supporting organizational compliance efforts, and overseeing the company's SEC compliance function. This includes the preparation and review of various public company filings and advising senior leadership on securities laws, public company reporting obligations, and corporate governance matters. The role also involves providing legal support for securities transactions, financings, strategic initiatives, and M&A activity, as well as supporting the Board of Directors with corporate secretary responsibilities. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' of experience as a corporate attorney, with a strong background in SEC reporting, securities laws, and public company compliance. Recent in-house experience is essential, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with active bar membership is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise risk management, supporting corporate transactions, and general corporate governance matters. While not mandatory, experience in a regulated industry and prior in-house experience at a publicly traded company are preferred.
