Practice Setting and Clinical Scope The practice operates in an outpatient setting, focusing on hematology and oncology care. Previously a two-physician practice, the clinic is supported by a Nurse Practitioner and a robust team of healthcare professionals. You will manage a caseload of 15-20 patients per day, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction. The clinic is fully equipped with an infusion center and onsite CBCs, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of patient management. Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncology RNs, medical assistants, a social worker, a dietitian, and a nurse navigator. This collaborative environment ensures comprehensive patient care and professional growth. Schedule and Assignment Details This locum position requires coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with clinic call as needed. While the weekend and night call are optional, they offer additional opportunities for professional engagement.
