Community Patrol Officer (Unarmed)

Location: Tannersville, PA

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Schedule: Shifts may vary; however, typical coverage includes:

Friday: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Saturday: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Sunday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

About the Role

We are hiring a dependable and observant Community Patrol Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. This position focuses on proactive patrol, visibility, and responsive service within the community.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct mobile and foot patrols throughout the community
Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and rule violations
Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
Assist residents and visitors with questions or concerns
Monitor access points and verify identification when needed
Enforce community policies professionally and consistently
Operate patrol vehicles safely and perform routine checks
Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

Qualifications

Clean driving record (required)
Strong observation and decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
Ability to walk/stand for extended periods

Preferred (not required):

Security, community patrol, or law enforcement experience
First Aid/CPR certification
Security guard license
