Regional Sales Manager

A growing specialty construction and civil infrastructure company is seeking a driven, technically capable Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and project sales across the Midwest. This role combines technical sales, business development, and project support, with a focus on expanding relationships and identifying opportunities across civil infrastructure and commercial construction markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on civil and commercial construction markets
Identify and pursue project opportunities from early design through bid and construction
Build relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and public agencies
Review plans and specifications to identify potential project opportunities
Provide technical guidance on construction systems, applications, and installation methods
Support customers with budget pricing, takeoffs, preliminary design coordination, and bid strategy
Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to support customer and project needs
Conduct technical presentations, lunch & learns, and educational sessions
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and territory activity
Monitor market and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in civil/commercial construction, construction sales, engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, bidding, and project lifecycles
Experience working with contractors, engineering firms, or public agencies
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate new business
Strong communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter who can independently manage a territory and sales pipeline

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Background in sheet piling, deep foundations, geotechnical, marine, shoring, or civil infrastructure
Experience delivering technical presentations
Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
