Job Summary (Purpose): \n
\n
\nThe Production Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders).\n
\n

Duties and Responsibilities: \n
\n

\n
• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
\n
• Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE
\n
• Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed
\n
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day's shipments.
\n
• Ability to stand and walk 8 - 12 hours per day.
\n
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
\n
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
\n

Education and Experience Required: \n
\n

\n
• 1 - 2 years work experience in manufacturing is preferred
\n
• High School Diploma or GED
\n

\n
Working conditions: \n
\n

\n
• Environmental conditions such as wind, rain, ice, and snow may affect this job, as the production area where the employee spends most of the workday is not enclosed.
\n

\n
Pay: \n

• $19.50/hr
\n

\nThe pay for this position ranges from $19.50 to $19.50 , depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position. \n
\n
