As a result, we have an opening for a Production Line Refurbisher.Initial responsibilities will include providing vital support for the facility and service operations. In addition, Paraco production line employees will be responsible for learning tank refurbishment processes to facilitate safe, accountable, and efficient operations. Working within the production team, each Paraco employee is vital to our business operations. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Refurbisher will be a key Paraco Gas Production Line team member.Key responsibilities and essential job functions will include, but not be limited to:Tank/Cylinder refurbishment:Loading/Unloading, inspecting, evacuating, refilling, recertifying, and organizing tanks/cylindersOperate two and 3-wheel hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to lift and move larger tanks/cylindersCylinder refurbishing, including sanding, priming, painting, and labelingOverfill Protection Device "OPD" valves inspection, testing, and replacement of non-compliant OPD valvesRefilling tanks/cylinders for delivery to commercial and residential customersPerforming other production line-related duties as assignedShift: 7:00am to 3:30pmDesired skills and experience:Sanding for rust removal, priming, and painting while wearing a respiratorSafe two and 3-wheeled hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift operation (along with prior OSHA safety training)Responsible and efficient welding and soldering, ensuring the strength of materials welded/solderedListening, reading, and following instructions to perform position responsibilities safely and efficientlyAttending safety and educational seminars, including required training and certifications for safe operationsFocusing on the tasks at hand ensures attention to detail, awareness of surroundings, and safetyPractical verbal and written communication skills to speak with customers, vendors, and other employeesWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Routinely handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds and, on occasion, may be expected to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds up to chest height.Strong interpersonal skills and is very team-oriented, customer-focused, enthusiastic, committed, motivated, and resourceful.Required Skills:High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Skills:Working with my hands, welding, painting, or hobbies using tools.Benefits We Provide:Medical Insurance-PPO, EPO, HDHP, HSA, FSA, LFSADentalVisionVoluntary Benefits-Life Lock, Life Insurance (Whole and Term), Hospital & Accident PlansCompany Paid Short Term Disability, Basic Life & AD&D Insurance (Up to $200,000 per plan)401(k) w/ Company Match (75% of the first 5% deferred)Paid PTO and SickPaid HolidaysParaco Gas Corporation is an Equal Opportunity employer.
