Position: Account Executive

Locations: San Diego, CA/Baton Rouge, LA

The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory through new business development, account retention, and account expansion . The ideal candidate will have a strong hunter mentality, technical aptitude, and experience with consultative/solution -based B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, email outreach, social selling, and in-person meetings .
\n
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on net-new customer acquisition .
\n
• Understand customer needs and develop consultative, solution-based sales strategies .
\n
• Present technology products and solutions to customers and decision-makers.
\n
• Own the full sales cycle , including prospecting, discovery, proposals, pricing, negotiation, contracts, and closing.
\n
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned local market.
\n
• Partner with engineering, operations, service, sales leadership, finance, and vendor teams to develop and deliver customer solutions.
\n
• Prepare proposals, quotes, pricing, presentations, and other sales documentation.
\n
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information, forecasting, and activity.
\n
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and share-of-wallet opportunities within existing accounts.
\n
• Manage longer, consultative sales cycles that may take several months to close.
\n
• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, revenue goals, and activity expectations.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience , preferably in wireless, telecom, technology solutions, security, electronics, or related industries.
\n
• Proven success in a hunter-oriented sales role with demonstrated new business development and closing experience.
\n
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills .
\n
• Experience with solution-based or consultative selling .
\n
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn technology products and understand how they solve customer problems.
\n
• Established local market relationships within the assigned territory.
\n
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close .
\n
• Ability to work with technical and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
\n
• Experience using CRM and sales technology tools .
\n
• Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and goal-oriented.
\n
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
\n
• Willingness to travel locally within the assigned market.
\n
