You will be responsible for the development and completion of all aspects of a project from Pre-Design through Construction Administration.The job involves the following essential functions:Perform ongoing document quality control reviewsPerforms building systems selection, evaluation, and detailingEffectively manage client relationships, understanding their needs and cultureEncourage project team members to promote and market BeckPromote collaboration and Integration throughout the design and construction processManage documentation and quality control of documents on smaller jobsResearch, understand and comply with Architecture practice statutes in the project’s jurisdictionApply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codesUnderstand and lead the development of project manualsManage project and professional liability and actively monitor for conditions that could increase riskWork closely with the Project Designer to execute the vision and spirit of the designActively manage budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; and project team assignmentsManage the project process and team along with performing annual employee reviewsMentoring and training of younger staffWho we think will be a great fitA reliable Architectural Project Manager will have the ability to lead all aspects of a project while maintaining owner relationships. They will set expectations for the owner and the project team, sell Beck, and encourage repeat business from our clients. If you are an individual with an interest in the Integrated Project Delivery method with a desire to be innovative in process improvement and technology, you will be an ideal fit for this position.You also meet the following requirements:8+ years of relevant healthcare architecture experienceCollege graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degreeProfessional registrationPhysical Demands:Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment; ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings; constantly communicates with project team and related parties; ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
