Ensure validation scope, coverage, execution quality, and release readiness are achieved while driving strong cross-functional alignment with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management ResponsibilitiesEstablish clear goals and performance expectations aligned to program delivery and quality metricsManage team workload, resource allocation, and prioritization across multiple programsProvide leadership, coaching, and development for engineers and test leadsRecruit, interview, and hire Product Validation engineering team membersIdentify skill gaps and drive team capability developmentProgram Execution ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end validation execution, including planning, scheduling, execution oversight, and reportingDefine validation scope, coverage strategy, and detailed test plans aligned to requirementsEnsure validation activities meet phase entry/exit criteriaEnsure validation results provide clear and actionable engineering signalTechnical Management ResponsibilitiesGuide validation methodology across functional, performance, reliability, compliance, and system-level testingProvide technical direction and oversight to engineers on coverage, prioritization, and defect qualityLead validation readiness reviews and support release gating decisionsEnsure test configurations and execution align with product requirements and design intentCross-Functional ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary validation point of contact for program teams and stakeholdersCommunicate validation plans, status, risks, and issues clearly and effectivelyPartner with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Systems, and Manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-validationSupport customer interactions with validation data and technical insightsOperational Management ResponsibilitiesTrack and manage key validation metrics, including coverage, defect trends, and schedule adherenceEnsure documentation of test plans, execution results, and lessons learnedDrive continuous improvement in validation processes, tools, and reportingSupport compliance to industry standards and customer requirementsRoughly 10% travelJob QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in product development or validation engineering3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams or technical leadsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of product validation methodologies and test lifecycle executionExperience with hardware systems (servers, storage, networking) and firmware interactionStrong program execution, prioritization, and risk management skillsAbility to translate technical data into clear business and customer messagingEffective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communicationBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
