In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field3 years supervisory experienceAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsProficient use of applicable technologyEssential Functions and Primary DutiesDevelop and own strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to meet all of their accounting and financial reporting needsMonitor the financial performance of ClientsCompile and analyze financial reporting packagesPrepare monthly and annual operating budgetsDevelop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s proceduresCommunicate financial metrics to senior managementProvide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departmentsReview relevant work papers and account reconciliations, including payrolls processedReview monthly financial statements, including cash flow statementsResearch complex accounting transactions and document conclusionsSupervise, mentor, and train team membersNetwork with industry professionals to generate new engagementsTravel to local client sites as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field Active CPA or equivalent certificationProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsPosting Date: 2026-09-21
