Provide excellent health care and achieve good outcomes for patients. Evaluate new patients, understand medical and emotional situations, and develop care plans. Treat patients, set measurable functional goals, and answer questions about injury and recovery. Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises. Supervise aides providing modalities for non‑Medicare, non‑BCBSM patients and oversee set‑up/cleanup duties. Monitor and re‑evaluate progress; revise plans and reset goals as needed. Address pain management and employ techniques for pain reduction. Determine discharge timing and teach mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention. Write timely and accurate documentation (evaluations, re‑evaluations, discharges, daily progress notes). Achieve a productive volume of 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations per week from a full‑time Physical Therapist. Participate in research studies, develop protocols, and input on policies and strategies. Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally. Continuously develop skills via continuing education and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy. Valid Physical Therapy license.
