Supply Chain Director

Park Capital Search has been retained to identify a Director of Supply Chain on behalf of a confidential client — a rapidly growing physical security and remote video monitoring company headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a rare, ground-floor opportunity to build and lead the end-to-end supply chain function for a rapidly scaling security and remote monitoring provider. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Supply Chain will own demand planning, procurement, vendor management, inventory strategy, warehousing, logistics, equipment availability, asset controls, and returns/RMA processes — ensuring the right equipment is available, configured, and delivered to the right location at the right time. This role is critical to the company’s ability to scale nationwide deployments efficiently while minimizing excess inventory, project delays, expedited freight, equipment shortages, and working-capital requirements.

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic yet hands-on supply chain leader with 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, logistics, or operations, including 3+ years leading a supply-chain or procurement team. You combine strong analytical, negotiation, and financial-management skills with a bias toward execution — someone who takes ownership of outcomes, builds disciplined and repeatable processes, uses data to anticipate constraints, and works effectively across Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Field Operations. Experience within electronic security, CCTV/video surveillance, remote video monitoring, access control, or related technology-hardware industries is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute the company’s overall supply-chain strategy to support company growth, customer deployments, and recurring-revenue activation Build a demand-planning process that incorporates sales pipeline, contracted project backlog, installation schedules, lead times, and safety-stock requirements Lead sourcing and procurement of cameras, networking equipment, servers, mounting hardware, and other technology required for customer deployments; negotiate pricing, freight terms, and vendor service levels Own inventory strategy and accuracy across warehouses, staging areas, technicians, and other company-controlled locations, including min/max levels, reorder points, and cycle counting Partner with Project Management and Field Operations to ensure equipment is available and ready before scheduled installations Oversee receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse operations, optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability Partner with Provisioning and Technical Operations to ensure equipment moves efficiently from inventory through configuration and deployment Develop and manage efficient processes for defective equipment, warranty replacements, vendor RMAs, and customer returns Ensure supply-chain systems provide accurate, timely visibility into inventory, purchase orders, and material shortages, and build dashboards for executive leadership Manage supply-chain operating expenses and inventory investment, partnering with Finance to optimize working capital and inventory turns Establish and continuously improve KPIs including material readiness rate, supplier on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, logistics, or operations 3+ years of leadership experience managing supply-chain or procurement teams Demonstrated experience managing complex physical inventories and multi-vendor technology products Strong experience with demand forecasting and inventory planning Experience negotiating with manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers Strong analytical and financial-management skills Experience developing operational KPIs and management dashboards Strong ERP, inventory-management, and business-system experience Demonstrated ability to improve processes in a rapidly scaling organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively across Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Field Operations Experience within electronic security, CCTV/video surveillance, remote video monitoring, access control, or related technology-hardware industries preferred APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications beneficial but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Park Capital Search
