Interventional Rad Tech Radiology


Job Details:


• Basic computer experience required• 5-day work week with 8-hour shifts
• Full-time position
• Experience in vascular and neuro required
• Minimum 1 year of training/experience in special procedures/IR required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• Operate fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures
• Perform circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures
• Assist with patient care within scope of practice including patient teaching
• Manage inventory and coordinate scheduling
• Develop and implement systems to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow in Interventional labs
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues as needed
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Demonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed
• Required certifications: Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT, BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS preferred
• Current Texas state licensure (MRT by TMB) required
