Key Responsibilities

• Operate various types of production equipment, perform minor adjustments, and ensure high-quality output.
• Read setup sheets and routing packages to verify parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections as outlined by procedures and complete production records.
• Move parts to subsequent operations; record scrap or rework with reasons.
• Participate in corrective action processes and team meetings to support continuous improvement.
• Operate hand jacks and help maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in shop math (fractions, decimals, metric).
• Ability to read and follow routing/setup instructions and blueprints.
• Skilled in using tape measures and dial calipers.
• Experience with tube or sheet metal fabrication is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift or longer, and perform bending, twisting, stooping, and lifting as required.
