Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance SupervisorMAY Management is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at Marina Grande on the Halifax, a premier waterfront condominium community. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all building systems, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics throughout the property.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven supervisory experience, and a deep understanding of high-rise or luxury condominium maintenance. Certified Pool Operator (CPO), HVAC expertise, OSHA compliance, and cooling tower experience are highly desired.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians and support staffOversee preventative maintenance programs for all building systemsEnsure proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, cooling towers, pools, and mechanical equipmentMaintain compliance with OSHA standards, local codes, and safety regulationsConduct regular inspections of common areas, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and life-safety systemsManage work order systems and ensure timely completion of maintenance requestsCoordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providersAssist with budgeting, inventory control, and cost management for maintenance supplies and servicesSupport capital improvement projects and major repairsMaintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentationServe as primary point of contact for maintenance-related emergenciesParticipate in on-call or emergency response rotations as requiredRequirementsQualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferredMinimum 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleExperience in high-rise condominium, HOA, or luxury residential properties strongly preferredCertified Pool Operator (CPO) – strongly preferredHVAC certification or advanced HVAC experience highly desiredOSHA compliance certification or demonstrated safety leadership preferredCooling tower operation and maintenance experience highly desiredStrong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and building automation systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency with maintenance management software and basic computer applicationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditionsWhy Join MAY Management?Leadership role at a premier waterfront condominium communityOpportunity to manage a skilled maintenance team and major building systemsStable and growing property management companyCompetitive compensation and professional growth opportunities
