If youre passionate about meaningful work and want to be part of something bigger than yourself, Caris is where your impact begins./ph3Position Summary:/h3pThe Commercial Education Manager (Manager) is responsible for the development, implementation, and adoption of the training program within Caris Life Sciences, ensuring peak performance of the commercial group toward achieving the desired company goals and metrics. The Manager will report to the Director of Training and work closely with the other members of the Commercial Education Team, the Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, field-based personnel, and other departments to maintain a high level of communication, uncover needs, and create a strategy for constant improvement./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliDevelopment, management, and deployment of core curriculum for new hires to the organization./liliDesign (creates agenda and training materials) and facilitate training classes as necessary./liliRegularly assess the performance of the commercial team and seek to identify regional, national, and role specific training needs and competency gaps and collaborate to devise a training plan(s) for improvement./liliOrganize, lead, and present virtual and in-person trainings when requested./liliField travel with members of the commercial team to learn about field challenges that can be supported by training as well as provide just in time coaching feedback to field team personnel and their supervisor./liliCollaborate with Learning Technology vendors./liliMaintain a general understanding of the companys core products, systems, and processes to develop training in any of these areas./liliHandle multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize to meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate calmness in times of uncertainty and under stress./liliApply strategic and creative thinking./liliUse Ms Word, Ms Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools when necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging training materials and reports./liliCreate clear, well written, grammatically correct communications and training documents./liliContinuously explore, assess, and present cutting edge tools and industry trends to enhance the effectiveness of the Commercial Education department./liliMeasure and report effectiveness of training programs toward pre-defined goals./li/ulh3Collaboration and Teaming:/h3ulliThe Manager will work closely with other members of the Commercial Education Team and Senior Management throughout Caris to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization in order to achieve the desired results./liliWork within a group setting and take a personal sense of responsibility for group performance./li/ulh3Other:/h3ulliSubmit all necessary paperwork, including travel itineraries, activity reports, monthly reports and expense reports, as required, accurately and in a timely manner./liliPerform other related duties as assigned./li/ulh3Required Qualifications:/h3ulliTraining and development experience in a biotech or healthcare related field./liliA minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare sales./liliExperience successfully coaching others./liliProven ability to effectively present to small and large audiences./liliMust be a self-starter requiring little supervision./liliBachelors degree from an accredited university./liliProficient computer skills, which must include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint./liliAbility to travel up to 30%/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliExperience in the oncology sales field./li/ulh3Other:/h3ulliSome evenings/weekends may be required./li/ulh3Physical Demands:/h3ulliMust possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time./liliEmployee may be required to lift routine office/training supplies and use standard office equipment./li/ulh3Conditions of Employment:/h3pIndividual must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, credit check (applicable for certain positions) and reference verification./ppThis job description reflects managements assignment of essential functions.
