Maintenance Mechanic

1st and 2nd shift

Pay rate up to $30/hr.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, conveyors, and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
Perform conveyor maintenance, including inspection, repairs, and component replacement.
Conduct welding and fabrication as needed to support equipment repairs and modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related equipment to maintain proper facility conditions.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, sensors, switches, and controls.
Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to reduce production interruptions.
Complete maintenance work orders accurately and document all repairs performed.
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant efficiency.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues and guide repairs.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support production needs.

This is a permanent position based out of Burlington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $70720.00/yr.
