Maintenance Mechanic

1st and 2nd shift

pay rate up to $30/hr.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, conveyors, and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform conveyor maintenance, including inspection, repairs, and component replacement.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed to support equipment repairs and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related equipment to maintain proper facility conditions.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, sensors, switches, and controls.
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to reduce production interruptions.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately and document all repairs performed.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant efficiency.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues and guide repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support production needs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burlington, NC.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $70720.00/yr.
