Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday) | On-Call Required (4–6 call shifts per 4-week period) | Holiday call may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate general surgery cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Bariatrics
• Scrub general OR cases across the same surgical specialties: Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic/Biliary, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, and Bariatrics
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled, including potential holiday call coverage
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Wear a radiation badge at all times as required (badge provided by agency)
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required; first-time travelers considered with 5+ years of experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact license must be in hand at start of contract
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, including DaVinci platform
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
