Physical Therapist Per Diem $60.00/hour Job Summary Palms Care Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lauderdale Lakes, FL, is seeking a dedicated and caring Physical Therapist to join our team on a Per Diem basis. As a Physical Therapist with Palms Care Center, you will perform and document initial exams, identify and document patient goals, and develop individualized treatment plans to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning. Responsibilities Test and measure patients' strength, motor development, and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment Instruct patients and families in treatment procedures to continue at home Attend staff and facility meetings Participate in continuing education classes Requirements Possess a Physical Therapy degree and license in the state of Florida Be certified in CPR Be physically able to assist individuals Have some computer literacy Possess strong listening, speaking, critical thinking, and reading comprehension skills Be socially perceptive Have strong time-management skills Additional Information We are looking for a go-getter – someone who is assertive, dependable, and has an uplifting personality.
