$28/hr Mortgage Closer

Position Overview

The Mortgage Closer is responsible for supporting the Closing function across multiple channels, ensuring mortgage loans close accurately and on time. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review closing documents, including balancing Initial and Final Closing Disclosures
• Ensure accuracy and compliance while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Actively engage with internal departments and external parties to facilitate timely loan closings
• Handle routine customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
• Execute daily work queues, identifying and escalating issues when necessary
• Support funding and loan closing activities as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Mortgage industry experience required; closing experience preferred
• Understanding of investor requirements, regulatory standards, and closing processes
• Knowledge of TRID regulations strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time‑management skills
• Passion for helping customers achieve their financial and homeownership goals

• Previous loan closing and funding experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Moorpark,CA.
