Take your expertise as a Physical Therapist to the next level by supporting students from PreK through 12th grade near Tucson’s vibrant west side. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively impact learners across a range of classroom and school environments. With a 30 hour work week, you’ll have the ability to engage meaningfully with students while maintaining work-life balance. The assignment begins as soon as possible, ensuring you can quickly make a difference where it’s needed most.

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Adaptability to serve students with diverse physical and developmental needs across grades and settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group PT services to students according to their IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, related service staff, and families to develop and implement support plans
• Participate in eligibility determinations, assessments, and IEP meetings for students with physical therapy needs
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Support classroom adaptations and access needs for students throughout the school day
• Consult with teachers and staff to promote student participation and safety
