The Journeyman Plumber will handle a variety of residential and commercial plumbing projects, working both independently and as part of a small team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a plumbing license and be skilled in using both power and traditional hand tools, with a focus on accuracy and reliability in every task. Local travel is required, with opportunities to advance to lead plumber or project supervisor positions.

Responsibilities

• Install pipes and plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
• Perform repairs and maintenance checks to ensure system functionality
• Read and interpret blueprints for project planning and execution
• Detect leaks and replace faulty fittings promptly
• Test plumbing systems for compliance and performance
• Interact courteously with customers to provide updates and address concerns
• Follow safety regulations and maintain compliance on all job sites
• Handle and manage plumbing materials efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Valid Plumbing License

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Expertise in pipefitting and blueprint interpretation
• Knowledge of safety standards and leak diagnosis
• Proficiency with plumbing tools, both power and traditional
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
