Operations and Dispatch Manager

Join a well established moving and relocation company based in Clinton, MA as an Operations and Dispatch Manager overseeing both local and interstate household goods operations.

Duties:

Oversee daily dispatch operations for local, intrastate, and interstate household goods moves.
Coordinate personnel, truck assignment, routing, and equipment utilisation.
Manage van line cargo including haulage, SIT, registrations, and interline cooperation.
Monitor live job progress and handle operational issues in real time.
Ensure the accuracy of bills of lading, inventory, trip sheets, and driver paperwork.
Supervise dispatchers, movers, warehouse employees, and owner-operators.
Insure compliance with the DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and Massachusetts DPU requirements.
Manage HOS/ELD compliance, driver certification files, and safety programs.
Ensure the fleet maintenance and equipment are up to date and ready to use.
Monitor operational KPIs, claim ratios, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction.
Provide support for high-profile residential, corporate relocation, military/GSA, and national account shipments.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience leading moving and storage operations or dispatch.
Strong experience with both van line/interstate and local household moving operations.
Understanding the DOT/FMCSA rules, ELD compliance, and fleet management.
