Registered Nurse, Stepdown — Bay City, Michigan, United States. Start date: 07/27/2026. Travel assignment for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,775-$1,933 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting: stepdown/progressive care with telemetry in an acute care environment. Posting date: 07/09/2026; valid through 10/26/2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the stepdown/progressive care unit, focusing on patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or those with complex conditions.
- Monitor patients continuously using telemetry and other advanced monitoring equipment; recognize subtle changes and respond with timely interventions.
- Administer and titrate complex medications and IV therapies as ordered; manage drips and pharmacologic therapies per protocol.
- Perform regular patient assessments, document findings, and initiate life-saving interventions when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions; ensure clear understanding and readiness for transition of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses using the electronic health record system.

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Minimum 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- Cerner experience required
- Ability to work in a stepdown/progressive care environment; availability for every-other-weekend schedule
