We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant with extended functions to join our growing practice. If you have experience in surgical dental procedures or are eager to learn and expand your skills, we want to hear from you! $21~$30 per hour

Requirements

• Dentrix
• Eaglesoft
• Infection Control License
• Open Dental
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with extended functions certification required
Prior experience assisting in dental surgeries preferred; willingness to train the right candidate considered
Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with technology and dental software systems
Commitment to providing compassionate and professional patient care

Job Description

Assist the dentist during surgical and restorative dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Provide chairside support including patient comfort and education
Perform extended functions as allowed under California law, including placement and carving of restorative materials, impressions, and application of sealants and fluoride
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Manage infection control protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Help with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

Shift & Schedule

Part-time: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and the first Saturday of the first two weeks of each month
Office Hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: By Appointment Only
Sunday: Closed
