Our team-oriented environment encourages open communication and knowledge sharing, allowing you to thrive in your role. You will work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation nurses to develop comprehensive treatment plans. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, encompassing a 40-hour work week, providing a stable routine that enhances work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed evaluations of new patients, devising comprehensive treatment plans based on each individual's unique needs and physician referrals.Implement a range of therapeutic interventions designed to facilitate recovery, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education on injury prevention.Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to meet established goals.Deliver exceptional patient care that exemplifies our principles of excellence and customer service.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols and self-management strategies to promote independence and recovery.Meet departmental productivity benchmarks and contribute to the overall success of the rehabilitation facility.Patient Population / Client FocusOur Physical Therapists at Holy Trinity Medical Centre work with a diverse patient population, spanning various specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. You will engage with patients at various stages of recovery, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management, tailoring treatments to meet individual needs. The patient-focused approach encourages lasting relationships, as you guide patients through every phase of their healing journey.QualificationsA Bachelor's or Doctorate degree from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, enabling you to practice legally in Florida.Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness in emergency situations.Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients, inspiring trust and confidence while achieving functional milestones.Strong organization and computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a rehabilitation setting, particularly with multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with evidence-based practice in physical therapy modalities and strength training.Previous involvement in community outreach programs or health education initiatives would be advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
