Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Surgical Care Unit you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families guests and providers as well as managing telephone communications organizing and maintaining patient charts and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.

Schedule: Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | Onsite

Day shift | 12-hour shifts | 7:00am-7:30pm

Every 3rd weekend (Fri-Sun) | rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at 19.91 per hour and increases with experience

Pay range: 19.91 - 30.47 per hour

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
• One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong customer service skills
