Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care for a travel assignment in NY. This dynamic role requires a professional prepared to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays and may need to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) or Intensive Care Units (ICU) as required.

Key Responsibilities of the RN ER

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and interpreting serious situations, and prioritizing and reacting appropriately.
• Initiate emergency measures when the physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other specialized equipment.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Document observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered.
• Coordinate patient care and documentation with the healthcare team.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment, and ensure unit upkeep and safety.

Requirements of the RN ER

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (Mandatory)
• Vent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must work every other weekend and holidays
