Job Title: RN - Long Term Care (LTC)

Type: Contract

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Long Term Care (LTC) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lansing, NY.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Maintain and monitor medication inventory and supplies
• Assess, review, and evaluate resident health status
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing care plans
• Ensure nursing interventions align with individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
• Monitor and support infection prevention and control practices
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education activities
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond to medical emergencies and urgent healthcare needs
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License required
• Current New York State RN Registration required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Experience with care planning and patient care coordination
• Strong clinical documentation and infection control knowledge
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Correctional, Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, Residential Treatment, or similar settings preferred
• Experience with medical inventory management and emergency response preferred
