Description
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital surgical services position requiring EPIC EMR experience.
Details
- Hospital-based surgical services unit position
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- AHA certifications required (BLS and other applicable certifications)
- License required if applicable
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assist surgical teams in maintaining a sterile environment and supporting procedures
- Completion of pre-start training modules averaging 4 hours prior to assignment start
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on position needs
- Previous MUSC perm staff or PRN employees must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Non-local candidates are prioritized; local candidates may be considered within a 60-mile radius
- Candidates with 7 or fewer non-holiday RTO days may be eligible for expedited offers
