Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Position Pediatric Pediatric OR CST Shift: 3x12s, 630a-7p. May need to modify to 4x9s, to accommodate a sister unit Is on-call REQ : yes, Call required, 3-6 shifts a 4-week schedule period Weekend REQ: Weekend requirement around the holidays. Holiday requirements: Holiday call may be required. We have holiday pods but would likely need extra help for possible transplants Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like sister units/sister facilities? yes Required/Preferred: Years of experience REQ: minimum 1 year of continuous scrub experience Experience required: ophthalmology, neuro, and ENT experience. Lap Appy, Ortho Trauma, Polytrauma, Craniotomy First-time travelers accepted : Yes Certs REQ: BLS, NBSTSA Required: Radiation badge. radiation badge to be provided by agency Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN's are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
