The Learning Experience – Riverton is looking for a passionate and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our growing team in Riverton, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children every single day, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for young learners
- Monitor and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Maintain accurate attendance records, daily logs, and developmental assessments
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a positive team environment
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Prior experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
