Physical Therapist - Travel TNAA TotalMed Allied invites applications for a travel Physical Therapist position located in Surprise, Arizona. The assignment lasts 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with 8 hour shifts. Position Summary Provide comprehensive physical therapy to patients in an acute care setting, including evaluation, plan development and execution. Responsibilities Evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans. Adjust care plans based on patient progress. Document treatment accurately in line with state and insurance guidelines. Use facility equipment and adaptive devices as needed. Collaborate with medical center personnel, physicians, and support staff for team-focused care. Supervise PTAs and therapy technicians. Adhere to billing guidelines and facility regulations. Maintain knowledge of state physical therapist board rules and regulations. Use medical center computer systems for daily documentation. Requirements Minimum 6 months of physical therapy experience; new graduates encouraged. Candidates with up to 1 year of experience acceptable. Board‑certified state license and BLS certification. Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Proficient in using computer systems for documentation.
