Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive care in labor and delivery, recovery, and immediate newborn care
• Conduct PACU for c-section patients with proficiency in BLS and NRP
• Engage in golden hour baby care ensuring optimal newborn transition
• Circulate during c-sections and scrub as needed
• Manage AWHONN standards for patient care and experience, adhering to bedside shift reporting

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active TX RN License
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 2+ years of hospital specialty experience in labor and delivery
• Experience with labor and delivery procedures, including immediate newborn care and c-section recovery
• Meditech experience preferred
