Perform specialized inspection work involving building construction and renovation to ensure compliance with established standards and ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations. Qualifications Required education level includes high school diploma Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Minimum 10 years of field experience Registered Building Inspector with the State of Michigan under Act 407 Values diversity in the workplace and in the community. Proven track record of establishing and continuing effective working relationships with co-workers and the public Demonstrated ability to consistently and effectively provide a high level of service in accordance with the Novi Guest Service Guarantee Policy to all customers and visitors serviced by, as well as within in the City organization.
