Pay, Schedule, and Location
- $19.69/hour pay rate
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 100% onsite Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM 1 hour lunch
- Temporary role
- Located in Houston, TX
- Respond to inbound calls regarding benefits, eligibility, claims status, and authorizations
- Provide first call resolution by identifying issues and offering appropriate solutions
- Document all customer interactions accurately within CRM and claims systems
- Handle claims inquiries, including submitting reconsideration or adjustment requests when necessary
- Route calls and cases appropriately with detailed documentation
- Track trends in customer inquiries and escalate issues to management as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure resolution and satisfaction
- Previous customer service experience in healthcare or call center environment preferred
- Knowledge of claims processing and healthcare benefits strongly preferred
- Experience with CRM systems and data entry required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
