Some of your daily responsibilities as the Fabricator would be: Ability to read a blueprint Ability to read a tape measure Ability to operate a drill press Ability to operate a frame drill Ability to operate a hand drill Ability to operate a band saw Ability to operate a 5\" grinder Ability to operate a plate roll Decimal conversion Will be required to learn how to use an overhead crane What are we looking for in a great Fabricator? High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to lift 75 lbs Ability to stand for 8 hours plus per day Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance Many tasks include their own work and /or the review of work of others in the department.
