Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Pontiac, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that guarantees weekly home time while requiring minimal physical effort? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Midwest, equipped with excellent gear and competitive pay. Experience the joy of over-the-road driving while maintaining a predictable schedule that allows you to return home every week.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you can keep up with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. Feel free to take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily engage with dry van freight featuring a 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work so you can focus on driving.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn around $1,100 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, $12 hourly layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls taken care of through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional offerings include $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.
