OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Waterford, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate long-haul dry van lanes nationwide from Waterford, MI, in modern tractors equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers. Expect roughly 2,500 miles per week and steady freight with clear dispatch communication.

Core responsibilities:

• Safely operate company dry van equipment and maintain accurate logs and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Secure cargo, follow DOT rules and company safety policies, and support clean inspection standards.
• Report issues to our in-house maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive care.

Requirements & package highlights:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months OTR experience required. Pay starts at 65 CPM with safety, inspection and referral bonuses, home every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
