Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the designated scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to mothers and newborns during the antepartum and postpartum periods.
• Guide and direct patient and family education effectively.
• Supervise and support the activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain high standards of care in the Birthplace environment.
• Quickly and accurately respond to changes in patient conditions and treatment responses.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and visitors.
• Utilize appropriate channels for communication to advocate for patient well-being and care standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage patient care effectively and safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding nursing staff and patient education.
