Branch Manager

About the Position Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a one-stop distributor of access control and perimeter security products for professional dealers and installers across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. This is a management role within the CPSG Branch function. The successful incumbent will oversee branch operations, drive sales and profitability, and maintain strong customer and associate relationships. Responsibilities Establish and achieve branch sales and profitability goals as identified in the annual budget. Facilitate quote management and order fulfillment to deliver product, pricing, and sales information to customers and the team using insights and data. Maintain customer relationships through continuous outreach and excellent service. Provide oversight for branch customer service, order processing, return goods authorization, technical service requests, and overall business functions. Identify root causes of issues in the above functions and implement effective solutions. Coordinate efforts of branch personnel through ongoing communication, ensuring clarity on processes, policies, and procedures. Monitor and report associate morale, ensuring a high‑performance, compliant, and safe work environment. Oversee purchasing of office equipment, supplies, warehouse material handling equipment, packaging materials, and ensure proper asset utilization. Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, addressing accuracy, obsolescence, and excess stock. Provide training on equipment handling, procedures, and vendor seminars to ensure compliance and safety. Maintain confidentiality to protect CPSG’s reputation and comply with health and safety guidelines. Contribute to team projects and maintain professional knowledge through workshops and professional societies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment. Minimum of 5 years experience in customer account management. Experience managing budgets and/or costs of a business unit. Prior experience with an ERP or similar business software. Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license. Forklift certification (preferred). IDEA certification (preferred). Prior people‑management experience (preferred). Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $71,300.00 – $115,100.00. Base pay will vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short‑term incentive plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
