Emergency Department Social Worker - MSW

Position Overview Emergency Department Social Worker – MSW at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. Responsible for providing comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advocacy for patients and their support systems, incorporating life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change theories. Schedule Part‑time, 24 hours per week. Evening schedule: Friday and Saturday, 1:00 PM–1:00 AM (12‑hour shifts). Key Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial/spiritual assessments and diagnoses for patients and support systems. Develop and implement evidence‑informed, person‑centered care plans across the care continuum. Collaborate with the Inter‑/Multi‑Disciplinary Team (IDT) to coordinate care. Advocate for patients, reduce health disparities, and respect patient self‑determination. Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work. Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate License within 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of clinical experience within healthcare, hospice, and/or bereavement settings.
